Are Raid Eggs Useful At All?
Hey guys. We know that raid eggs are a thing once again. But we don’t know for how long they will be staying here. Are they just for the Mewtwo raid or will they making it a permanent feature. For those of you who don’t know about raid eggs. I’ll be explaining what they really are.
Raid Eggs appeared two hours before the start of a Raid that would alert players when the Raid would take place. The Raid Egg would actually give the trainers enough time to tell their friends about the Raid and it would begin when the egg hatches. But the eggs soon disappeared and the people were left without the clues for the raid. Each tier raid has a different egg color. In other words an egg’s color indicates what level of difficulty the Raid Boss is. A pink egg indicates that the Raid Boss is one or two stars. A yellow egg indicates that the boss is either three or four stars. Finally there are dark blue eggs, which are used for five star Raid Bosses.
Now, I’d like to share something that I found on reddit. Here’s what the post read— “As a mostly solo player not living next to a gyms, the new update made my raiding possibilities even more random than it was before. I’m on the verge of starting to solo the easier Tier 3 raids, and I have a particular need for Exeggutors. Now I can’t tell if a raid is worth committing to or not until there’s one hour remaining, which may or may not be enough time to even get there. Moreover, the egg timers don’t even add any more “time to prepare” as they are. You could organize a raid all the same before, while knowing what the boss actually was.”
As you can see that Raid eggs aren’t useful for all the people. People have divided opinion about it. However, we’ll leave it at that.
