PokemonGO: Tyrogue Evolution Trick For Hitmontop, Hitmonchan and HitmonLee

Tyrogue is the baby form of Hitmonchan, Hitmonlee and Hitmontop. In a way, this makes Tyrogue similar to that of Eevee. To get Flareon, Jolteon or Vaporeon in Pokemon GO. You must name your Eevee,  Pryo (Flareon), Sparky (Jolteon), or Rainer (Vaporeon) to get the specific Pokemon you want.

Now that generation 2 is out, so are two new Eevees that can also be named to get either Espeon or Umbreon. [You can read out post here: Eevee Name Trick For Espeon and Umbreon] Following the two new Eeveelutions, Hitmonchan, Hitmonlee and Hitmontop’s Baby form Tyrogue was also released!

Without the Eevee name trick, you have random chance of the evolution you get when evolving Eevee, just like without a proper trick it’s random without Tyrogue as well. This means there has to be some kind of trick to getting either hitmon, right?

Just like Eevee without the name trick. You have a random chance of the evolution you get when evolving Eevee or Tyrogue. This means there has to be some kind of trick to getting either hitmon, right?

We don’t know if you already know this trick or not, but there is a trick to getting either Hitmonlee, Hitmontop, or Hitmonchan. However, it isn’t exactly a naming trick. This sure way of getting either is actually a bit more complicated than evolving an Eevee.

Before you evolve your Tyrogue, you can appraise it to see it’s stats. Unlike Eevee, however, you can use this “trick” every single time you evolve Tyrogue. It’s more of predicting which Hitmon you end up with rather than a trick.

Here is what you need to look for, and which Hitmon these stats correspond with.

Hitmonchan – Defense

Hitmonlee – Attack

Hitmontop – HP

When appraising your Tyrogue, it will tell you which of his stats are the highest. If you get one of the three mentioned above, that is the Hitmon you will receive when you evolve your hard earned Tyrogue.

Because this is a prediction rather than a trick but it works everytime! Uou might find yourself hatching more Tyrogue than once planned. It all depends on luck after getting a lucky hatch.
