New Pokemon GO Bug Is Effecting Only One Team.

If you are a member of team Instinct then after the 0.69 update I’m sure you might have seen something odd going on, with the game. After the new update was rolled out there have been reports coming in from various Pokemon GO subreddits and fans alike that Spark (The Team Instinct Leader has gone missing)

After so many people were reporting the same issue, Niantic’s Reddit mods, replied that this was a reported glitch and trainers were asked not to freak out about this.

This actually gave us many fan theories that Niantic is actually giving us a sort of a mini storyline to follow. I have read countless fan theories. The most interesting one that I was came across was something like this.

In their quest to find rare Pokemon Professor Willow and Spark uncovered a hidden treasure at Grant Park Chicago and that process, they set free the legendary birds Articuno, Zapdos, and Moltres. These Kanto legendary birds fight each other for world dominance.
Candella, The team leader of Valor has temporarily taken over team instinct for the time being. In order to free Professor Willow and Spark, trainers will have to fight against the mighty legendary birds by capturing them. In that process the mighty Lugia awakens and starts terrorizing the city of Chicago, it’s up to trainers to beat and capture this massive Pokemon.

As much as I would want this to be true there is a catch. Other software engineers and coders say that they likely didn’t have time for full regression testing between the last release and the latest one. So they had to do some risk-based regression test cases selection. Since there were no intended changes to the appraisal overlay, they might have considered it to be a medium-risk area and only executed part of the tests for it.

Got something to add to this story? Let us know in the comments section, let’s get a discussion going on here! Anyways guys, have fun out there catching Pokemon and never pogo and drive.
