Pokemon GO: New Update is Here!
It’s been awhile since we got an app update. To be honest, this update was not expected as we just received a nest migration. So what does this update comes with? Well, the official changelog for the game shows that there are only a couple of changes that are much-needed bug fixes and stuff like that.
Spark finally makes his return as the team leader of Team Instinct. No longer will Team Valor trainers be threatened by Candela taking over team Instinct. Moving on other major new changes include gym motivation fixes for Pokemon whose CP is greater than 3000 CP. So this is going to be something really good to see. The motivation decay for Pokemon with CP greater than 3000 CP was supposed to higher than other Pokemon. Previously there was a bug reported around a week ago, now I believe that this issue has been fixed.
Other changes include optimizations for more fluid gym battles and general bug fixes. Previously one of our readers reached out to us that he was facing login issues on his iPhone 6+ which prevented him from logging into the game.
Fortunately, this app update will most likely fix these login issues, as there is a mention of such a bug being fixed on the changelog.
Pokémon GO is in the process of being updated to version 0.69.1 for Android and 1.39.1 for iOS devices. Below are some release notes and comments from our development team.
