Pokemon Go: Yellow Egg Raid Boss Battle Guide
Raids are a pretty interesting addition to the game, they have in a way successfully revitalized the game.to its former summer glory. I can slowly see people getting excited about the game once again. Which is a good sign to see.
Let’s talk about raids bosses now. As previously seen, raids boss battles come in 5 tiers, Level 1 through 5. With increasing difficulty. The rarer raids that trainers can participate are Tier 3 and 4 raids. These are characterized by Raid egg being Yellow in color These are rarer types of raids that are going around at all Pokestops now. (Not just sponsored Pokestops)
Unlike Pink Raids bosses, you can’t beat a Yellow Raid boss all by yourself these are actually pretty tough to beat all by one single person. They at minimum will require
More than 2 Trainers for Tier 3 raid.
More than 5 Trainers for Tier 4 raid.
The trainers from novice to advanced level trainers. The maximum CP for Tier 3 Raid boss CP about 22.7K and Tier 2 Raid Boss 34.7K respectively. (Rough estimates made)
In Tier 3 Raids you get raids bosses as, Flareon, Vaporeon, Jolteon, Arcanine, Machamp, and giant Alakazam, and Gengar.
In Tier 4 Raids you get raids bosses as, Venusaur, Charizard, Blastoise, Lapras, Snorlax, Rhydon, and the mighty Tyranitar.
Be warned you should never attempt a level 4 raid all by yourself, you are bound to get crushed and lose your hard earned raid pass. All of the Rare Raid Bosses have increased HP, damage, and CP. At a bare minimum, you should dodge Charged Attacks. Keep in mind that the charge attacks from raid bosses do not show a yellow/pink flash before attacking, so you will have to be careful.
Don’t worry you can always re-enter a fight, but you gotta be quick for that, only inside the 180 Seconds (3 Minutes) of fighting time! Not only that, the Boss will stay at the same amount of HP he had when you lost, so chipping away at a Raid Boss is possible, but hard, as you will have to constantly keep switching out your Pokemon. Probably this feature was enabled into the game for quick healing if you forgot to heal your Pokemon before a raid starts.
After you beat a lv3 or lv4 raid boss, good luck catching that raid boss, as you will have to make sure that you have enough premier balls and Golden Razz Berries to catch them. Also, remember your premier balls don’t get added to your bag so you only have about to 12 shots at catching those raid bosses.
