PokemonGo: Just Got an Update to Version 0.69!
Every Once in awhile Niantic decides to launch a game update once in awhile that seemingly looks innocent but has a ton of details hidden in it. Well looks Ninatic has hooked up with one such update this time around.
Last week there were many tweets from Niantic that were addressing bugs that the gym rework system has bought into the game, it looks like a few of those bugs have been squashed. Niantic’s official changelog says “Various Bug Fixes” along with additional functionality added into the game.
Most of these changes are little things, slight quality of life changes in the game that work together to make the game feel more natural than ever. You can read through the game’s changelog, for hints at what is to come.
Pokémon GO is in the process of being updated to version 0.69.0 for Android and 1.39.0 for iOS devices. Below are some release notes and comments from our development team.
Added icons to the Pokémon information screen to indicate how the Pokémon was caught.
Added the ability for Trainers to spin the Photo Disc at a Gym after completing a Raid Battle.
Added the ability for Trainers to send Berries to their Pokémon defending Gyms through the Pokémon info screen when they are not nearby. Motivation regained will be less effective through this method.
Added the ability for Trainers to give Berries to Pokémon defending Gyms if their motivation meter is full.
Improved Pokémon Collection screen search functionality.
Fixed an issue where Trainers were unable to complete Raid Battles started before time expired on the map view.
Fixed an issue where Pokémon are not properly returned to their Trainer after defending a Gym.
Various bug fixes.
With Pokemon GO Fest so close, it would not surprise if we start seeing a little more exciting stuff in the game’s APK mine. Our developers are still working hard on the APK mine, as soon as we have something to post we will let you guys know the first. It took us a while to find the APK file this time around.
Our guess is that we will be seeing more stuff related to Pokemon GO Fest and the allegedly leaked Legendary Raids in the APK mine. To know about the APK mine. Probably the most interesting addition that we see in the game’s official change-log is remote berry feature, that makes perfect sense for trainers who live a little far away from their place. Good thing is that they put up some sort of diminished return for the new remote berry system.
